How to find us
Your vacation at Tirolo, without detours. Pension Lafod
On the Brenner motorway:
- Exit Bolzano South – Bolzano / Meran motorway – “Meran Süd” exit
- Direction Passeiertal / Jaufenpass , past the gardens of Trautmannsdorf Castle
- Please follow the gray hotel route to the junction Tirolo
- Stay on the main road until you see the tourist information office on the right
- Right turn into the street Aichweg
- The second house on the right is the “Pension Lafod”
On the Reschenpass:
- From beer company Forst take the Merano / Bolzano motorway – “Meran Süd” exit
- Continue as above.
Tirolo and our Pension Lafod are only accessible by the Meran Süd -> Obermais exit!
Please use the main entrance of Tirolo. Unfortunately, some Navigation Systems use a more complicated route further down the valley.

NEW: Direct train connection Innsbruck-Merano (and return)
Monday to Saturday, at the following times:
Departure Innsbruck : 06.22 am – arrival Merano: 09.14 am
Departure Merano: 19.46 am – arrival Innsbruck: 22.30 pm
DB / ÖBB connection
Passengers can purchase a ticket on board of DB/ÖBB Eurocity trains between Munich and Bolzano at the price of € 5,00, which guarantees the usage of the public transport in South Tyrol on the day of arrival. This ticket is also available in DB travel centers.
